The club maintains and operates several inland flying sites stretching from the northern suburbs of Brisbane right through to Gympie. We have sites to cover most wind conditions and directions. Our main flying sites are located along the scenic Blackall range with fantastic XC potential, ridge soaring or magic afternoon glass off flights to cater for all styles and experience levels of flying.
Our sites are precious; we do not own any of the launches or bomb-outs; We are allowed to fly these sites through years of landowner negotiations. To keep these sites active and reduce the likelihood of losing these sites through annoying the land owners, each of our sites has a set of operating rules.
